This is now the PRETTIEST Starbucks in Austin, BY FAR. The building where it sits, The W, has environmental requirements, but the store goes beyond that and has LEED certification. In terms of decorations, the store has wood etchings that pay homage to the both the music industry and the bats that the city is famous for. Look closely, and you'll see things like old decorations and grinders behind the bar, a custom map of the regions where Starbucks obtains their coffee, awesome light fixutures, and more.45th & N. Now at the end of the shopping center instead of the middle, this store is vastly more spacious and comfortable. And it has the distinction of being the only store I know of to be relocated without having its name changed (on the Starbucks web site), which made tracking it a little confusing for me, until I realized that an extra space was inserted into the name to distinguish it from the original.
